woman issues
{:3) asked:

I have a yeast infection and plan to call out of work. My problem is that my boss ALWAYS asks what happened the day I come back into work. Is there a polite way I can tell him none of his business w/o letting one to woman problems? I feel uncomfortable saying that it is related to my gender or saying it is a TMI issue. I do not appear outwardly sick otherwise and he is suspicious, so I know he will ask.
How should I tell him I wasn’t feeling well w/o looking like a fibber (he is suspicious for no reason) and to get him off my back?
I usually email that I will be out sick if it helps. thanks in advance. I will pick best answerer.
Thank you everyone.

H for ‘08: I am embarrassed to use that excuse, anything else to say?
My boss is a bit weird. He always questions. I have used the food poisoning thing before. Since I have come off the pill (mood issues) I have had a few yeast infections during ovulation ( due to the hormone change and adjusting) and I feel embarrassed saying I ate something bad after being out sick for that a few months prior.
I have sick time saved up where I don’t need a dr. note, he is just inappropriate in asking what I have (as small talk) I guess. makes me embarrassed.
Morely: maybe you have been lucky enough to not have one or not have such an awful one, but sometimes they can be quite uncomfortable. Thank though for your advice.
sorry for some typos.
